Most of my courses sit at the intersection of Comparative Politics and International Relations. The 200-level courses in my portfolio include Comparative Democracies, Introduction to International Relations, Politics of the Middle East, and Globalization and World Poverty. The 300-level courses include Perspectives on Nationalism and Populism, Democracy and Protest in the Global South, Islam and Politics, Politics of Modern Turkey, and Political Violence. In addition to these, I also have experience leading a graduate-level and theoretically-oriented course on nationalism and national identities called the Globalization of Nationalism. I have also taught Introduction to Public Policy earlier in my career.
