I have been serving as Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at Colgate University since July 2023, teaching classes in Comparative Politics and Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies.
My research has been published in academic outlets such as Populism, Zeitschrift für Vergleichende Politikwissenschaft (German Journal of Comparative Politics), GlobalEurope, EuropeNow, and the Research Handbook of Nationalism.
During the 2022 - 2023 academic year, I was a Visiting Lecturer at Boston University, teaching courses for the Department of Political Science, as well as the Department of Sociology.
Prior to the conferral of my Ph.D. degree in 2022, I taught at Boston University as a Senior Teaching Fellow (2021), in addition to teaching classes (as Instructor of Record) in International Relations/Politics and Public Policy (2017 - 2021). I also earned a M.A. (2018) degree in Political Science from Boston University and was the recipient of the Campagna-Kerven Fellowship.
Before starting my professional training in Boston, I studied at Koç University in Istanbul, where I earned dual B.A. degrees (2015) in Economics and International Relations.
